UK Job Seekers’ Top 10 Frustrations Revealed

If you don’t want to miss out on the best candidates, you need to shift your hiring process into high gear, recent research reveals.

Two studies published this year (1)(2) highlight that UK businesses are missing out on top talent by alienating candidates with poor communication and long hiring practices.

 

About the surveys:

  • Developed by Robert Half and conducted by an independent research company between December 2017 and January 2018, the study included 9,000 job seekers in 11 countries. (Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland and the United Kingdom)
  • An online survey of 715 UK adults job hunters, conducted in May 2018 by The Harris Poll on behalf of Glassdoor. (Participants were employed full-time/part-time/self-employed, or not employed but looking for work)
